Elson Soares, a Cape Verdean DJ and producer based in Rotterdam, blends vibrant Carnival and Capoeira rhythms influenced by his Mindelo roots. His passion for music began early, playing at high school parties and experimenting with sounds. Discovering his talent behind the decks in 2018, Elson began producing his own beats during the 2020 lockdown, releasing his first track, "Sauna."
In 2023, he launched his debut EP, "Culture," showcasing innovative production and hypnotic drumbeats. Performing at events across Europe and Cape Verde, Elson quickly gained a reputation for pushing the boundaries of Afro Tech. With significant achievements early in his career, he is poised for continued success.
